Here's a very easy way to make some awesome coffee with the stuff you've got:

What You Need:

  • V60
  • V60 Filter Papers or Hario Waterfall V60 Papers
  • Coffee Scales
  • Coffee Grinder

Ingredients:

  • 15g of coffee (medium grind)
  • 250ml of water

Let's Do This:

  1. Get all your gear and coffee ready.
  2. Heat up your water to around 97°C. Hot, but not boiling.
  3. Fold your filter paper and pop it into the V60.
  4. Give that paper a quick rinse with hot water to get rid of any weird flavors and warm up the V60.
  5. Grind up your coffee to a medium grind, kinda like caster sugar.
  6. Pour the coffee into the brewer and give it a little shake to make it nice and even.
  7. Put the V60 on the scales and hit that tare button (make it read zero).

Now, Let the Pouring Begin:

  1. Start your timer right when you start pouring.
  2. Pour 45 grams of water in a circular motion by 0:30 seconds (that's the bloom).
  3. At 0:30, go for round two, pouring until you hit 100 grams on the scale.
  4. By 1:00, go for another pour until you reach 150g.
  5. At 1:30, make your final pour until you hit 250g.

Chill Time:

  1. Wait for all the water to drip through the coffee grounds.

  2. Your coffee should be good to go in around 3:00 - 3:30 minutes.

  3. Now, just kick back and enjoy that delicious brew you just made. Cheers! 🌟☕
